Aligning with The Travel Industry Exhibition’s objectives for 2016, one of the show’s main focuses is education for travel industry professionals, providing them with a platform to develop professionally within their careers. Partnering with TIME brings a complementary educational element to the event.

TIME operates a unique mentoring program for aspiring individuals within the travel and tourism industry, offering a range of skills, guidance and support, within a mentoring and peer collaboration environment.

The TIME program focuses on a ‘mentee-driven’ Mentor/Mentee relationship. Mentors are senior industry individuals that volunteer their time to the six month mentor process.

Show organisers, the award winning team at Exhibition and Trade Fairs (ETF) were equally delighted to have TIME involved.

Event Director, Exhibition and Trade Fairs, David McCarthy said, “We welcome TIME’s involvement in the Exhibition, they provide a great avenue for aspiring professionals in the industry to develop their skills and further their careers. They make a significant contribution to our event program and we are very pleased to have their support,”

“Last year’s exhibition taught us that travel professionals thrive on education and networking. There’s a lot of valuable IP to be passed down to future managers and the TIME mentor program facilitates this cause.”

Successful program participants in 2016 will be recognised and commended through a graduation ceremony to take place at the conclusion of the Travel Industry Exhibition on day one.

Exhibition-goers are invited to attend the TIME Graduation ceremonies in both Melbourne on Monday 11 July and in Sydney on Monday 18 July 2016.
