The Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School (BMIHMS) will host the 26th annual CAUTHE Conference in Sydney from 8-11 February 2016.

The annual CAUTHE research conference brings together tourism, hospitality and events (TH&E) professionals from academia, government and business to promote informative, stimulating and challenging discussion on the latest issues in the field.

The theme of CAUTHE 2016 is ‘The Changing Landscape: The Impact of Emerging Markets and Destinations’. As the number of travellers from emerging markets continues to rise, and the number of ‘new’ destinations develop, the tourism and hospitality industry is faced with a rapidly changing demand for the products and services that are offered.

The Council for Australasian Tourism and Hospitality Education (CAUTHE) is a Council established to represent the interests of higher education providers of bachelor degree level and above in tourism, hospitality and events education.
