W Hotel hosts “Who’s got talent” casting event for new hires

width=W Brisbane rolled out the pink carpet yesterday at the hotel’s Talent Casting Event at Brisbane Powerhouse, where 500 people auditioned to prove they’ve got the passion and drive to join one of Australia’s most anticipated hotels. Over 1600 people applied for a role at W Brisbane ahead of the event.

Looking to fill 250 positions across the hotel, W Brisbane put hopeful candidates to the test in a ÒWho’s Got TalentÓ style set-up in front of a panel of judges, including local celebrity and radio presenter Abby Coleman and W Brisbane’s General Manager Haldon Philp.

In true W style, candidates were treated like superstars from the moment they arrived with photo moments on the pink carpet, live music from local DJ Little Fritter, as well as make-up from influencer and make-up artist Mia Connor.

ÒWe’re on the hunt for people who embody the passion and vigour of the W Brand,Ó said Haldon Philp, General Manager of W Brisbane.ÊÒWhat better way to start cultivating this energy by hosting a Talent Casting Event that resembles the brand’s state-of-mind and gets people thinking outside of the box. We want to excite talent about what’s to come when the hotel opens next year!Ó
