Global property management software providers Hotelogix has announced its new mobile PMS application for android and iOS will be launched globally on Monday 7th November, at World Travel Market in London.
The new mobile app will provide Hotelogix users with comprehensive control over all front desk tasks, directly from their smartphone.
Designed for use by independent properties and groups, the mobile PMS has a simple, clean interface that allows hoteliers to handle a variety of day-to-day tasks such as check-ins, check-outs, reservations, night auditing and so on. The gentle learning curve ensures that even non tech-savvy members of the hotel’s staff are able to understand the system. This broadens the property’s scope for employment, enabling the hotel to derive the same level of productivity from less experienced staff. Hotelogix estimates that this lowers the cost of employment by as much as 60%.
Beyond improving management efficiency, the app also lowers costs by reducing infrastructure expenses and saves time for the staff by enabling them to carry out various activities without having to depend on the availability of a conventional workstation.
