Brice O'KeeffeKimpton Hotels & Restaurants is pleased to announce the hire of Brice OÕKeeffe as Director of Sales and Marketing at Kimpton Hotel Monaco Washington DC. Mr OÕKeeffe brings a strong luxury and resort background, as well as more than 20 years of hospitality experience, to Hotel MonacoÕs senior management team.

Celebrating its 15-year anniversary in 2017, Kimpton Hotel Monaco Washington DC occupies WashingtonÕs historic former General Post Office building. Located in the Penn Quarter and Chinatown neighborhood near top attractions such as the Verizon Center, Smithsonian Museums and National Mall, the hotel has set itself apart since opening in 2002 Ð frequently garnering recognition for its top-notch service, elegant-yet-whimsical design and innovative culinary concepts. In his new role at Kimpton Hotel Monaco Washington DC, Mr OÕKeeffe will spearhead all sales and marketing activities, leading the hotelÕs dedicated sales team with an emphasis on his specialty, the association market. Mr OÕKeeffe will guide strategic planning for all sales segments and additionally drive critical revenue, digital marketing, advertising and public relations efforts for the hotel. Mr OÕKeeffe will also oversee the catering and events staff, which create extraordinary custom meetings, weddings and event experiences for up to 300 guests in the hotelÕs signature, historic 7,000 square feet of function space with creative food and beverage options from the hotelÕs new restaurant, Dirty Habit.

Mr OÕKeeffe joins Kimpton Hotel Monaco Washington DC with robust luxury and resort experience, most recently serving as Director of Sales at Mandarin Oriental, Washington DC. After getting his start as a guest services agent at the Montauk Yacht Club, Mr OÕKeeffe feel in love with the hospitality industry and worked his way up the ladder, eventually transitioning from operations to sales and advancing his career at top luxury hotels in New York City. Mr OÕKeeffe then gained experience at several luxury resort properties, leading sales and marketing efforts for Fairmont Southampton in Bermuda, Sonesta St. Maarten Resorts and Rosewood Mayakoba in Riviera Maya, Mexico before moving to the Washington area in 2011 as Director of Sales at Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg, Va.

A New York native and graduate of Lake Forest College in Illinois, Mr OÕKeeffe has called greater Washington area home for the past six years. Mr OÕKeeffe enjoys working hard and fully embraces free time on weekends with his three children. An avid football fan and golfer, he keeps up with scores when heÕs not on the green himself.ÊMr OÕKeeffe brings a light-hearted spirit and impressive luxury experience to Kimpton Hotel Monaco Washington DC.
