Kyle LaMonica appointed new General Manager of qualia on Hamilton Island

Hamilton Island has appointed Kyle LaMonica as the new General Manager of Australia’s foremost luxury resort, qualia.
As General Manager, LaMonica is responsible for overseeing the operations of the resort and ensuring qualia’s unrivalled standards of luxury are consistently exceeded.

With over 20 years’ experience in hospitality and tourism, LaMonica’s career has spanned various award-winning locations in Australia and around the world.

“I have been fortunate enough to have worked in the tourism and hospitality industry for many years, but working at qualia is the pinnacle of my career,” he said. “I believe when pride and passion come together, you create genuine customer service. If you can achieve that, guests won’t be limited to coming back or simply recommending you – they will insist that their friends experience it.”

LaMonica’s role as General Manager will encompass the management of qualia’s well-known Long Pavilion restaurant, with Executive Chef Craig Knudsen at the helm, and the resort’s award-winning Spa qualia.

Kyle will also be responsible for overseeing qualia’s collection of special events throughout the year such as and the world class Audi Hamilton Island Race Week and the Australian Ballet’s Pas de Deux in Paradise as performed at qualia.
