Mohamed Elsherif promoted to Executive Chef at Fairmont Nile City, Cairo

Mohamed ElsherifFrank Naboulsi, Regional Vice President, FRHI Egypt & General Manager, Fairmont Nile City Cairo promotes Mohamed Elsherif to Executive Chef.

Elsherif has 22 years of experience in the hospitality industry developing culinary concepts and in his new role he will oversee all of the hotel’s kitchens operations including restaurants such as Bab Elnil, Saigon Restaurant & Lounge, and Napa Grill, as well as events and functions.

A native of Egypt, Chef Sherif joined Fairmont Nile City as a Sous Chef since the opening in 2009. Throughout his career he served in several reputable hotel brands such as Sheraton Cairo, Four Seasons First Residence, and Dusit Thani Lakeview. With true passion for the culinary arts, Elsherif is characterized by his attention to detail and refined quality of the seasonal ingredients used as he constantly strives to find the perfect balance between taste and presentation, and is always a source of inspiration to his team.

Chef Elsherif graduated from the Faculty of Hotel Management & Tourism in 1994 and is HACCAP certified. He also had the privilege to travel to sister hotels on several occasions including task force positions in Singapore and Indonesia adding to his extensive work experience.
