Mark Pardue has been named Area Vice President Luxury and Lifestyle Brands and General Manager of Park Hyatt New York, the flagship hotel of the globally recognized Park Hyatt brand which opened in August 2014.
Pardue has a prestigious 27-year career with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, holding leadership positions in 10 premier Hyatt properties across nine cities, including the Stanhope Hotel, Hyatt’s iconic property on the Upper East Side prior to the structure’s conversion to luxury residences. Pardue most recently served as General Manager at the Grand Hyatt New York where he led operations for the 1,306-key hotel since 2010. Hyatt has recognised Pardue’s dedication and exceptional contributions over the years with two nominations – in 2002 and 2007 – for the Donald N. Pritzker Award of Excellence for General Manager of the Year, one of the company’s highest honours.

In his new role as Area Vice President, Pardue will assist in operating Hyatt’s luxury brands with a focus on executing an extraordinary, authentic and personalised experience for each and every guest. As General Manager, Pardue will oversee all aspects of Park Hyatt New York’s operations, including the facilitation of luxury brand and cultural partnerships.
