Carsten Seubert new GM at Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko

As of June, Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko has a new General Manager – Mr Carsten Seubert.

Kempinski’s Regional President for Europe, Mr Xavier Destribats, arrived specially for the occasion and was delighted to present the new General Manager.

Seubert has more than 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry working in Germany, Switzerland, Australia, the United Kingdom and China, where he held various managerial positions.

He began his career at Kempinski in 2006 as Assistant Events and Groups Manager at Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski in Munich, Germany. Two years later he moved to the Kempinski SA Corporate Office where he held the position of Corporate Training Manager, heading various training programmes.

In 2010, Mr Seubert became the Executive Assistant Manager of the Kempinski property The Stafford in London. In 2012, again in the same position, he successfully opened Kempinski Hotel Yixing in China. His last appointment before arriving at Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko was as Hotel Manager of Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center in Beijing, where he worked for nearly two years.

Mr Seubert is a German national. In addition to his mother tongue, he speaks fluent English and conversational French.

After almost two and a half years as General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko, Mr Athanassios Manos will continue his professional career in Kempinski as General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Aqaba in Jordan, located on the shore of the Red Sea.
