Thailand hospitality company Kata Group Resorts has confirmed the appointment of Wiswin Pitikulsathit as Vice President ahead of a new campaign to build a higher, more distinctive international profile.
Previously Kata Group’s Assistant Vice President for Asset Management, he joined Kata Group Resorts from the Bangkok-based Asset Pro Management Company Limited where he was a Senior Financial Analyst.
Educated at Monash University in Melbourne Australia, Pitikulsathit also has a Masters in Hospitality from the Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne in Switzerland.
Pitikulsathit has already signaled his intention to move Kata Group forward with an emphasis on guest experiences and destination marketing due to the enviable locations of the resorts in the Group’s portfolio.
“It is a great challenge and one I am relishing. Kata Group Resorts has a long and successful history in the hospitality industry and I am looking forward to continuing to press ahead, respecting the past while keeping a firm eye on the future,” he said.

“To this we will seek further partnerships and embark on a strategy that will embrace the digital requirements of travellers who are seeking more personalised experiences and the growing trend of more specific, segmented travel offerings.”
Kata Group Resorts owns and operates of six resorts in Thailand and has been an established leader in the affordable luxury hospitality market for the past 35 years. The Group specialises in family and couples travel experiences, while offering beachfront weddings and corporate meetings and incentives.
