Rezidor appoints Jenny Winkler as Senior Vice President & General Counsel

Jenny WinklerThe Rezidor Hotel Group has appointed Jenny Winkler as Senior Vice President & General Counsel. Effective 1st July 2015, she will lead Rezidor’s legal department at the corporate office in Brussels (Belgium) and report to Knut Kleiven, Deputy President & Chief Financial Officer. Jenny Winkler will also be a member of Rezidor’s Executive Committee.

Jenny Winkler joins Rezidor from Carlson, the group’s strategic partner and majority shareholder. Her most recent position at the headquarters in Minneapolis (U.S.) was Associate General Counsel, Americas, for Carlson Hotels, where she supported the leadership on all contractual and legal aspects of the franchised business. Jenny Winkler joined Carlson in September 2010 as Senior Corporate Counsel and was promoted to her present position in July 2012. Prior to joining Carlson, she spent six years with the law firm Dorsey & Whitney in Minneapolis. She is a citizen of Sweden and the United States, and has a Masters of Laws from Uppsala University in Sweden and a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota in the United States. She has also studied in Japan.
