The St. Regis Bal Harbour appoints Dagan Stocks as Chef de Cuisine of J&G Grill

Dagan Stocks_1The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort has announced the appointment of Dagan Stocks as the Chef de Cuisine of J&G Grill, the resort’s critically acclaimed restaurant. With a deep appreciation for the finest ingredients and refined flavors, Dagan’s culinary expertise and hospitality experience will bring a new dimension to the resort’s signature restaurant which recently received four stars from the Miami Herald.

As the Chef de Cuisine of J&G Grill at The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort, Dagan will continue to evolve J&G Grill’s menu, which features renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s distinct dishes from his restaurants around the world.

Prior to his appointment as Chef de Cuisine at J&G Grill, Dagan recently served as Sous Chef of The Four Seasons Resort in Vail, Colorado, where he helped oversee the resort’s culinary outlets, including the resort’s signature restaurant, Flame.

His previous positions includes working at Porters on Merchant Street in Decatur, Illinois as Executive Chef, where he introduced seasonal menus for the fine-dining restaurant, serving as Executive Chef of Creative Cuisine Catering in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and as Chef de Cuisine for Food of Vail Home Catering in Avon, Colorado, where he oversaw the preparation and recipe development for the retail shop, as well as catering events throughout the Vail Valley. Dagan is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University and New York Bartending School of South Florida, in addition to successfully completing the Court of Masters Sommeliers Level Once Course.

J&G Grill at The St. Regis Bal Harbour sits perched above the hotel pool with magnificent views of Bal Harbour’s turquoise Atlantic Ocean.
