Seasoned hospitality veteran, Doris Dai, has been appointed as chief concierge of the hotel and will oversee this unique program along with the concierge team, which includes four Golden Keys Concierge Ambassadors, a first for Starwood Asia Pacific.
Experienced professional Doris Dai Dan has been appointed to the position of Chief Concierge to oversee the property’s concierge program and special destination experiences. Dai is a hospitality and concierge management expert and brings over seven years of experience in the industry to her new role at The Castle Hotel. The Luxury Collection Concierge serves as the curator of the world’s most desirable destination experiences, helping guests discover special locales with authentic and unique encounters. Dai is an ideal fit to manage the hotel’s signature service standards with her exemplary background in management, teamwork, writing and customer service relations skills.

In her new role, Dai will manage the entire concierge staff and work with other senior staff members to ensure that all guests receive the highest level of service. As Chief Concierge, Dai will oversee every aspect of a guests’ stay, from making the initial reservation, recommending activities and making dinner and private transportation reservations as requested. A certified Golden Key Concierge Ambassador herself, Dai will have the enviable resources of three additional Golden Keys Ambassadors to provide exemplary concierge services for guests. The concierge team is available seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. Fluent in both English and Chinese, Dai received her bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management from Bohai University in Jinzhou, China. Prior to joining The Castle Hotel, Dai served as the Chief Concierge at other international hotels for nearly seven years and during this time, she managed the entire concierge team, monitored concierge services, honed in on her customer relations skills and helped increase hotel revenue.
The property utilizes the guest service operations system, GoConcierge, a web-based software that ensures all guests receive highly-personalized service during their stay. The Castle Hotel’s Luxury Collection Concierge is now offering an array of special destination journeys with new signature experiences that range from tours of historical sites and places of cultural importance to beautiful attractions to let visitors unwind.
