New hotel concept for the sharing generation

NYAH, Not Your Average Hotel, a newly launched concept, meets the needs of the sharing generation with fully customizable rooms that accommodate up to six adults, each with their own bed. NYAH liberates guests from the average hotel that not only dictates the number of guests per room, but also charges for additional guests. At NYAH, guests decide the number of people in the room, and how the room is configured, without affecting the price.

NYAH

Hospitality innovators Jesper and Gustaf Arnoldsson created NYAH in response to the needs of the sharing generation, which is overlooked by the mainstream hotel industry. The NYAH concept diverges from the idea that rooms were only meant to accommodate two guests, and gives those who want to travel together and stay together the power to create a unique shared hotel experience, without sacrificing location, service, or amenities.

“We designed our convertible furniture to cater to the modern traveler, both in terms of comfort and technology,” explains Jesper Arnoldsson, Chief Sharing Officer. “One night, a room can accommodate a couple with a King bed and a sofa; the next day that same room can be converted to accommodate a group of six friends for a girls’ getaway, or a bachelor party, and nobody has to share a bed, sleep in a bathtub, or call for a roll-away!”

All NYAH beds include memory foam mattresses, European style duvet bedding, individual charging stations with two USB and one electrical outlet, LED reading lights, and individual closets with RFID locks.

NYAH’s first property is situated on one acre in Old Town Key West, and comprises seven conch-style houses located four blocks from Duval Street. Each of the 36 guestrooms are equipped with en-suite bathrooms, flat panel TVs, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Free continental breakfast, a daily happy hour, three pools, two Jacuzzis, lounge areas, and terraces, create the perfect environment for guests to connect with each other.
