A signature Thai restaurant opens in the Maldives

Suan Bua Thai_1A new experience in global cuisine is now ready to welcome Thai food lovers at the Centara Grand Island Resort and Spa – Maldives.

Suan Bua Thai Restaurant has been a part of the history of Centara Hotels and Resorts since the opening of the first property in Centara Grand Ladprao Bangkok Thailand in 1983. It accumulated good reviews for their excellent service and innovative presentation of genuine Thai cuisine from a passionate team of Thai Chefs and service staff bent on preserving the true Thai flavors of the past. The menu consists of dishes from every corner of The Kingdom ranging from ultra-spicy southern delicacies and tangy northeastern food to the relatively milder mix of traditional and contemporary tastes of the north and central parts of Thailand. The restaurant is set in lovely gardens, with a Lotus pond and Thai traditional salas. There is also a Thai cooking studio where guests can participate in lessons from our Thai Master Chef Khun Ning.

K Thirayuth Chirathivat the CEO of Centara Hotels and Resorts says “I am extremely proud that Centara has been successful in bringing the taste of Thai to the world for international travelers to explore all of the culinary adventures our dishes have to offer – as one of the most popular cuisines of the world we are dedicated to preserve this part of our unique culture for generations to come”

Suan Bua is a Signature Restaurant of Centara Hotels and Resorts with restaurants open in Centara Grand Lad Prao Bangkok, Centara Grand Beach Resort and Villas Hua Hin, Centara Ras Fushi Maldives, Centara Grand West Sands Resort and Villas Phuket and planned to open at the Centara Grand West Bay Doha next year.
