Having previously worked in hotels in Vietnam, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia, seasoned hotelier Hijaaz Latheef will be taking over the reins of the Alba Hotels in Hue City, Vietnam as their General Manager. He was previously the General Manager for Jetwing Indochina Hotels, a joint venture between Jetwing Group and Thien Minh Group.
Given his 23+ years of hospitality experience and that he has been in senior management for several of the world’s leading service and hospitality providers, Hijaaz’s background makes him ideal for the position. His dedication and creativity will serve to improve the existing offerings of the Alba Hotels.
He is a graduate of the Ceylon Hotel School and School of Tourism and Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA). This is the most prestigious certification available to any hotel GM, given by the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute, USA. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, United Kingdom and Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Association, Sri Lanka.
