Hilton Anatole adds three to Sales and Marketing team

Ruth Leis_1The Hilton Anatole has appointed three new employees in the Dallas hotel’s sales and marketing departments. Ruth Leis, CMP has joined the hotel as the director of sales, Charles E. “CeeJay” Jones has been named a senior sales manager covering the Texas state association market, and Courtney Morrow is a new marketing manager responsible for the hotel’s social media, media relations and corporate partnerships.

“It is a pleasure to welcome Ruth, CeeJay and Courtney to our growing Hilton Anatole team,” said Harold Rapoza, general manager of the Hilton Anatole. “The Anatole is constantly looking for ways we can improve our guests’ experiences. Adding two experienced sales professionals will allow us to better serve our groups and meetings customers; an additional marketing manager will enhance communication and engagement with our consumers.”

Leis, Jones and Morrow all bring significant hospitality experience to the Anatole team. Full biographies for the three new employees are below:

Ruth Leis, Director of Sales

Ruth Leis (pictured above) has been appointed the Hilton Anatole’s director of sales. Leis joins Hilton Worldwide after spending the past 10 years at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. For more than four years, she served as executive director of sales at MGM, leading a team of 15 managers targeting conventions and conferences for the 6,000-room hotel. Prior to that, Leis was responsible for the Midwest region, where she also supervised the MGM’s small meetings team. She was consistently ranked as one of the top-producing salespeople during her time with the MGM Resorts International. Prior to MGM, Leis spent four years handling the Northeast region at the 2,500-room Rio All-Suite Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.

Leis holds a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation, has served on the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Americas board of directors, and is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).

CeeJay Jones_1Charles E. “CeeJay” Jones, Senior Sales Manager, Texas State Association Market

CeeJay Jones (left) has joined the Hilton Anatole from the Omni Park West Hotel where he has covered the Texas state association market for the past 18 months. Prior to his time at the Omni Park West, CeeJay spent 14 years with American Airlines in a variety of positions, including the role of global sales manager, within their group and meetings travel department in Dallas, culminating in a Global Sales Manager role. CeeJay also spent time as a sales manager at the Capital Hilton Hotel and as an account executive with United Airlines, both in Washington, D.C. He is a member of TSAE and MPI’s Hill Country Chapter.

Courtney Morrow _1Courtney Morrow, Marketing Manager

Courtney Morrow (right) has joined the Hilton Anatole to oversee all of the hotel’s social media efforts, media relations, reputation management and corporate partnerships. Additionally, Morrow will focus on driving awareness of the hotel’s special events, particularly Christmas at the Anatole and Sparkle!

Previously, Morrow served as a marketing and social media manager for Starwood Hotels & Resorts. In this role, Morrow was responsible for media relations, reputation management and social media efforts at the Westin Galleria Dallas. For one year of her time with Starwood, Morrow had the additional responsibility of the social media work for the Sheraton Dallas. Prior to Morrow’s time with Starwood, she served in a variety of marketing, events, public relations and fundraising roles in Oklahoma and Texas.
