Edmonton Hotel & Convention Centre reopens under Radisson brand

Radisson EdmontonRadisson has opened Radisson Hotel & Convention Centre Edmonton, located at 4520 76 Avenue Northwest (formerly the Edmonton Hotel & Convention Centre). The hotel offers 168 guest rooms, a full service restaurant and lounge and over 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

“Radisson is a first class-brand and we are known for our signature ‘Yes I Can!’ service spirit,” said Javier Rosenberg, chief operating officer, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Americas. “Bringing this hotel into the brand reinforces our commitment to enhance our portfolio and further expand our presence in key Canadian markets.”

The hotel’s onsite restaurant, Café Burgundy serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and Cranberries Lounge offers an array of beverages. Guests of the hotel are given complimentary access to high-speed wireless Internet, free parking, a fitness centre, indoor swimming pool and hot tub as well as a 24-hour business centre. The convention centre space offers an array of configurations from board meetings for six to theatre style presentations for 600.

The hotel’s general manager is Hany Assal. The hotel is located next to Sherwood Park Business Park and just minutes from popular attractions including the Edmonton Expo Centre, Northlands Park, and Rexall Place.
