Four Seasons offers lessons in table manners for children

Children in restaurantEtiquette Specialist Julie Ann Ulcickas will be leading an etiquette session for children seven to 15 years of age at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. 

This session will also include a cooking class with Chef Mette Williams from Culina, Modern Italian and a three-course lunch, along with a copy of Julie Ann’s new instructional guide to etiquette. This will be held in Culina’s Private Dining Room for USD 135.00 per person, inclusive of taxes and gratuity.

Chef Mette Williams from Culina, Modern Italian will teach children how to make garlic knots, pizza and arancini, and will provide a three course lunch tied to the educational etiquette session.  The lunch will include a choice of a caesar salad or a modo mio with heirloom tomatoes and burrata, and either rigatoni with meatballs, seared salmon or chicken parmesan with broccolini.  Dessert will feature famous Four Seasons chocolate chip cookies and house made gelato.

Julie Ann Ulcickas has been teaching the art of etiquette since 1992.  She is currently the etiquette and modeling trainer for the Tournament of Roses Royal Court. She also wrote a column called “Manners, Taste & Social Grace” for the La Canada Outlook newspaper, and was the etiquette expert for Coast Kids Magazine, and has been featured on radio and television.  She teaches a multitude of organizations including Scout troups, debutantes, National Charity League, private clubs, schools and businesses.
