Guest can immerse in Mumbai’s vivacious life along with the dabbawalas. The dabbawalas are members of the highly regarded lunch-box delivery trade that has been an integral part of Mumbai culture for 125 years. His Royal Highness Prince Charles has been one of the many world dignitaries to appreciate their seamless lunch–box delivery management. The Harvard Business School has invited the dabbawalas to deliver a lecture on their management and strategy after citing a case study.
Through a special partnership with Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai, guests get exclusive access, joining the dabbawalas at the local train station and accompanying them as they hand-deliver dabbas (tiffin boxes) – each labelled with an alphanumeric tiffin code that acts as a unique ZIP code, ensuring that hundreds of hot lunches reach their destinations each and every day. After that it’s time to order and unpack one’s very own dabba, filled with lunch prepared by Four Seasons chefs.
