Opened in May 2014, the Savoy Resort & Spa is a high-class wellness oasis in the Seychelles. Qualified therapists and spa experts in the hotel’s wellness area make guests’ health, relaxation and beauty the top priority. The holistic concept includes massage, beauty treatments, nutrition and sport.
The programme includes 13 different massages, ranging from classic to Asian and ayurvedic massage. The Savoy Spa only uses the highest-quality oils, peelings, salts and minerals. All employees are qualified and excellently trained therapists, who are familiar with traditional methods as well as new contemporary treatments. The Savoy has six individual suites, three double suites for couples’ treatment, two Thai/shiatsu rooms and a Russian steam sauna.
Guests can also choose from a total of 14 different beauty treatments for face, hair and body. The Savoy uses products from Sothys, the French luxury cosmetics brand. All treatments use Digi-Estétuqie, a massage method developed exclusively by Sothys. It is a combination of acupressure, massage and drainage that is meant to enhance the well-being of the body and soul. The result is a deep-seated relaxation that revitalises the body thereby increasing the flow of energy and the absorption of nutrients.
Those seeking a more active programme can swim laps in the 700 m² pool, exercise at any time in the fitness center or attend a yoga or pilates course. After a workout, the Russian sauna awaits to soothe aching muscles. In addition to manicures, pedicures and waxing, the Savoy Resort & Spa also offers aromatherapy and chromatherapy, two treatments that use the effect of aroma and colour on the human organism.
The Savoy’s holistic health programme is rounded off with fresh and aromatic meals, served in the hotel’s restaurants, which features food from the hotel’s own garden and offers the best in international and local cuisine. Meals that are especially healthy and low-calorie are marked with special notations.
The Beau Vallon Bay, (in English: Bay of the Beautiful Valley) the longest, whitest and flattest beach on the Seychelles, is directly in front of the Savoy. Visitors seeking to relax in the beauty of nature can go on a guided hike in the forested areas of the island, take in the sounds of the Indian Ocean – or simply unwind under a dreamy star-filled heaven.
