Beach Villas at Hayman, Great Barrier Reef, Australia

Hayman, Great Barrier Reef

Iconic private-island resort Hayman, in Australia's Great Barrier Reef, is all about low-key tropical luxe. Its 210 light contemporary rooms let the ocean take centre stage, but it's hard not to be distracted by these gorgeous seaside pads. Top of our wish-list are the Kerry Hill-designed Beach Villas, right on the sand. Serene bedroom and luxe bathroom? Tick. Enormous tub configured around a private deck and pool? Sure. Hayman Spa will lure sybarites into a catatonic state (cue massages while you're bobbing in the sea). The pool is the southern hemisphere's biggest, while the four restaurants promise a global gourmet getaway.
