Carlson Rezidor has announced a pilot program that will offer bike rental stations at select Radisson Blu, Radisson, and Country Inns & Suites By Carlson hotels.

Consumers have a growing need for more exercise, especially when they travel and want to contribute to a greener environment, bikes provide that and in many cases an easier and certainly more cost effective form of transportation.”
Avanti bike rentals, will be available to guests at participating hotels via stations provided by Spinway, a company that installs and manages self-contained bike rental stations.

The Spinway Bike has been designed by Avanti, a leading bike manufacturer. The bike is both comfortable and easy to ride and features puncture proof tires, a chain protector, enclosed internal gears and brakes, internal cabling, a low step frame for a wide range of riders, adjustable seat and custom basket carrier.
The rental stations consist of an electronic credit card processing unit attached to a rack of between 4 to 32 bikes. The system is simple and user friendly with customers simply swiping their credit card and following the on screen prompts.
