Everyone at the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group around the world is devastated by the terrible events that happened in Bamako on Friday, 20 November 2015.

On behalf of the entire Carlson Rezidor hotel community, I want to once again express my deepest condolences to all of the families and friends of those who lost their lives, as well as those who were injured or affected by the terrible events at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Bamako.

We express our sincere gratitude to the local authorities for all the support they have given to our employees and guests and we thank the security and emergency people who risked their lives to rescue and safeguard the people affected.

We will continue to do everything we can to support our guests and employees, as well as their families trying to recover from this tragic situation. We are imminently sending a dedicated Rezidor support team to Mali and setting up a professional emergency support service to make sure our company is doing everything possible in this respect.

The direct telephone line that we have set up for the families of guests and employees to give them as much support and information as we can, will stay open as long as needed.

We are closely monitoring the situation, and we will update on any new developments.
