During the second quarter of 2015, Wyndham Hotel Group opened new hotels across its key markets in Latin America and the Caribbean, including Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Peru, increasing the company’s system size in the region by the end of the second quarter to more than 17,000 rooms across 146 properties.

Among the hotels that opened in the second quarter of 2015 was the first TRYP by Wyndham hotel in Mexico, which opened in Mexico City in April; the newly-constructed Ramada Hotel & Suites Campos dos Goytacazes and Super 8 Caxias do Sul properties in Brazil; Wyndham Costa del Sol Lima in Peru; and Wyndham Garden Barranquilla in Colombia, which opened in June.
The company’s pipeline in the region at the end of the second quarter included 114 hotels representing more than 10,800 rooms. Some of the key new properties expected to open during the rest of the year include Wyndham Quito Grand Condor in Ecuador, TRYP by Wyndham Isla Verde in Puerto Rico, Howard Johnson® Neuquen in Argentina and Ramada Encore in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.
