Master Innholder Scholarship – applications now open

master InnholderThe Master Innholder Scholarship programme is now accepting applications from rising stars in the UK hospitality industry.

Thanks to the generosity of the Worshipful Company of Innholders, the Savoy Educational Trust and the Lord Forte Foundation, the scholarship programme enables successful candidates to follow a fully-funded two-week management development course at either Cranfield University (UK), Cornell University (USA), or École Hôtelière de Lausanne (Switzerland).

Jonathan Raggett FIH MI, the chairman of the Master Innholders, says, “There is no minimum qualification, academic or otherwise needed to apply. Whether you work in a large 5-star city hotel, a small provincial property or a boutique B&B, the programme is designed for both general managers as well as those heads of department with clear management potential.”

There are three courses to choose from, each run over a two-week period:

The Lausanne Executive Education Programme, created in 1981, prioritises the market’s evolution and participants’ future challenges and is taught by highly qualified module leaders and facilitators.

The Cranfield Talent Development Programme develops fast-track managers early in their careers, enables them to make wider more credible business contributions, challenges them to develop greater managerial visibility, credibility and maturity as well as raise their own capability, influence and managerial value.

The General Managers Programme at Cornell University is for managers seeking, specific and workable solutions to real-world, real-time demands and brings a worldwide perspective to the table. The programme is designed to mould decision-makers into strategic thinkers, expand their knowledge, broaden their viewpoint and  produce new solutions to the challenges they face.
