Yes, it's still 2013, but it's never too early to plan for 2014 travels.

Particularly if you're a major guidebook publisher. Lonely Planet today issued its Best in Travel 2014 list, available on its website and in book form ($14.95). The year's hottest destinations are chosen annually by Lonely Planet editors and contributors.
