Regent Beijing is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Nick Porter as general manager. With a long and distinguished career in hospitality, Mr. Porter brings a wealth of experience to the luxury property of Regent Beijing.
Originally from the UK, Mr. Porter has spent over 20 years in Asia, speaks fluent Chinese and holds a degree in Chinese & Asian Studies. He has many years of experience in sales and marketing leadership and hotel general management, having worked in resorts in Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu and Bali as well as in city hotels, most recently in Shanghai and Beijing.
On his new role, Mr. Porter says “Regent Beijing’s excellent location, spacious guest rooms and exceptional dining options have set new standards for luxury in Beijing and I am looking forward to working with the dedicated and professional team, committed to delivering a personalized Regent experience to our domestic and international guests.”
