Renaissance Hotels announced today the opening of its first hotel in Alberta, the Renaissance Hotel Edmonton International Airport. Representing the next generation airport hotel and the first hotel of its kind to open in Edmonton, the modern and stylish new hotel was developed by Platinum Investments Ltd.
Featuring a sophisticated open concept lobby, the arctic themed hotel features chic design in its 213 soundproof spacious guest rooms, including twelve executive suites and a presidential suite overlooking one of the airport’s runways. Each guest room features luxurious pillow-top mattresses, spacious work and seating areas, 42” LED HD televisions and personal Keurig brewing systems.
The new hotel also offers more than 20,000 square feet of versatile meeting and event space featuring Renaissance Hotels signature R.E.N. meetings program, designed to bring live entertainment and the best of the local destination to your business or social gathering. The hotel will also feature Renaissance Hotels exclusive NAVIGATOR concierge program and its recognized entertainment program, known for bringing the very best of music, arts, culinary and more into each of the brand’s 155 hotels around the world.
