Laurence Shukor new Director of Public Relations at Hôtel Métropole

Laurence Shukor_2Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo announces the appointment of Laurence Shukor, who joins the property as the new Director of Public Relations. With over 20 years in the business, Shukor has gained immeasurable experience and brings with her a dedicated passion for hospitality and communication.

Shukor began her career as an Executive Assistant in the Public Relations Department of the artistic Agency Art Media. Following quick development, she became Assistant Director to Philippe Starck before becoming the French designer’s Head of Agency in Paris.

After six years at Phillipe Starck, Shukor was offered a position as the Project Manager at Alan Yau, founder of Wagamama restaurants.This position enabled her to gain an extensive knowledge of gastronomy and design in London as well as being in charge of coordinating new restaurants, such as the prestigious two Michelin-starred Hakkasan restaurant.

In 2004, recognised for her work with Philippe Starck and Alan Yau, Shukor was welcomed as the head of the Hi Hotel Group in Nice, France. For 10 years,Shukor contributed to the development of the Group in Nice, Paris and Tunisia through managing, communicating, coordinating and co-producing.Throughout her career, Shukor has continuously enhanced her business expertise, talent and passion – all of which she brings to her new position as the Director of Public Relations at Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo.
