Nice Touch: Stay Well experience for health-conscious travellers

MGM Grand and Delos, a NYC-based wellness real estate firm, have just completed the expansion of the Stay Well experience – which includes an entire floor of wellness rooms in MGM's main tower, a dedicated lobby and a mobile app.  Due to the positive response from traveler's wanting a healthier hotel experience, Delos and MGM have quadrupled the number of Stay Well rooms from 42 to 171 rooms & suites.

Designed by Delos (in conjunction with Delos' exclusive partnerships with the renowned Cleveland Clinic and Dr. Deepak Chopra), Stay Well rooms offer over 20 wellness features, including everything from vitamin-C shower water to advanced lighting systems that help reverse jetlag and regulate the body's melatonin levels and circadian rhythm.

The new Stay Well mobile app by Delos enhances the guest experience by introducing users to the room's wellness features, providing healthy travel tips and calculating a prescription for remedying guest's jetlag.

"We introduced Delos' Stay Well concept in response to guest feedback as well as current trends we were seeing in healthy travel," said Scott Sibella, president and COO of MGM Grand. "We knew the product would be a welcomed addition in this market, and are thrilled at how quickly word has spread about how you can have the Vegas experience without giving up your commitment to healthy living."
