The Montcalm Luxury Hotels London’s new property is the M by Montcalm, located in Shoreditch, London’s hottest neighbourhood for new hotel openings. The five-star property M by Montcalm is close to the “Silicon roundabout” at Old Street.
M by Montcalm is a striking new-build 269-room hotel, in a 23-storey contemporary tower. SGP Contracts has been awarded the design and build contract for the project.
The futuristic, angular building is destined to become a landmark on City Road, and will feature bars, state-of-the art business facilities with a Club Lounge, a wellness centre and gym, a selection of restaurants, a private members club – The Hoxton Social, and a rooftop bar – The Sky Lounge, with stunning views across this buzzing quarter of London.
The guestrooms at M by Montcalm will feature elegant contemporary design with a beautiful ensuite bathroom fitted with rain shower and designer toiletries. Work desks have been included,keeping the business traveller in mind. All rooms have complimentary Wi-Fi internet and 24 hour room service facilities.
Fittingly for a hotel in London’s “Tech City” neighbourhood, the rooms offer the latest in
technology: all rooms and suites are controlled via an in-room control panel, through which guests can remotely adjust lights to suit their mood and monitor room temperature, control curtains and order a room service with the click of a button. Wall-mounted plasma screens double as mirrors.
M by Montcalm is due to open in early 2015. It will be the fifth property in the group’s portfolio, joining The Montcalm London Marble Arch, The Marble Arch by Montcalm London, The Montcalm at the Brewery London City, and London City Suites by Montcalm.
