Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island welcomes two new team members

Sonesta Hilton HeadSonesta Resort Hilton Head Island has named Jeff Anthony as its new director of banquets and Theresa Anthony, CMP as its new catering sales manager.
 
Jeff Anthony comes to Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island with more than 20 years of experience in food and beverage operations. He has an extensive background in the areas of convention meetings, social catering, local meetings and corporate groups. Prior to joining Sonesta, Jeff Anthony served as the director of catering operations at the Sawgrass Marriott in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. He is also a recipient of nine Tiefel Awards from the time he spent as the director of catering operations at the Orlando Airport Marriott in Orlando, FL.
 
Theresa Anthony specializes in events and wedding planning, and has been working in the hospitality industry for nearly 30 years. She joins Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island with a well-rounded background in the areas of hospitality conference and convention management, catering sales, event planning and customer service. Prior to joining Sonesta, Theresa Anthony served as the senior catering sales manager and senior convention service manager at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in Jacksonville, FL. During her time with Hyatt, she received the “Outstanding Production Achievement Award”, was nominated for “Catering and Convention Service Manager of the Year” and received the “Catering and Convention Services Team of the Year” award.
