Sage Hospitality hires two VPs to support growing portfolio

Sage HospitalitySage Hospitality has added two Vice President positions to support the growing company’s needs as their portfolio has expanded to more than 75 hotels across the United States. Shane Keener is now Vice President of Marketing and Paul McCormick has joined as Vice President of Operations for Sage’s Premier & Lifestyle Division.

“Sage Hospitality is experiencing excellent growth and our divisions are expanding to support the needs of these high preforming hotels,” said Arthur Berg, Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of the Premier & Lifestyle Division at Sage.  “We look forward to creating strong, dynamic teams within the Sage Global Office that drive positive results for our partners, owners and investors.”

Keener will be responsible for directing and managing all day to day corporate and field marketing services in support of Sage and its portfolio of more than 75 hotels. Sage will be launching new marketing initiatives in 2015 and Keener will preside over their official launch. Prior to Sage, he was Vice President of Strategy at YO!DOG Marketing where he managed the online presence of companies in the travel industry, growing the agency to more than 50 accounts in 4 years, while generating over $2 million in annual revenue. Keener also spent 10 years with Sunstone Hotel Properties in revenue management and as Corporate Director of E-commerce.

McCormick will be responsible for directing and managing a selection of Sage’s high-end Premier & Lifestyle hotels, focusing on operational excellence throughout the division. He comes from Omni Hotels & Resorts as well as a 16-year tenure at KSL Resorts where he served in a variety of special project positions, including general manger for La Costa Resort and Spa in San Diego. He has also worked with Hilton and Hyatt Hotels and Resorts.
