Lee Surman, Strategic Account Manager, Azamara Club Cruises UK & Ireland

Lee Surman_1Azamara Club Cruises is continuing to grow its dedicated UK team with the appointment of Lee Surman as Strategic Account Manager. Joining Managing Director Richard Twynam and his team, Surman will manage the cruise line’s relationships with its most strategic travel partners and maximize their growth potential for the brand.

Surman brings over 10 years’ experience in the travel and cruise industries, with previous managerial roles in travel management companies, and with Carnival UK and Princess Cruises.

Commenting on his new position, Surman said, “I feel very privileged to be chosen to take on this role with Azamara and I’m excited to come back to the frontline of travel sales where I’ve been successful in the past.  Richard and the team have developed a solid foundation since the turn of the year and I look forward to being a part of Azamara’s continued success as we move forward.”

At the start of the year, RCL Cruises Ltd evolved its UK and Ireland business structure to form dedicated businesses for each of its three brands. Azamara’s UK team now comprises 11 staff, and whilst this new style of operating offers greater focus and investment, Azamara continues to work closely with sister brands Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises.
