First Holiday Inn Hotel opens in Coatzacoalcos, Mexico

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced the opening of its first property in Coatzacoalcos – the 120-room Holiday Inn Coatzacoalcos hotel. This is the ninth IHG-branded property for the State of Veracruz, Mexico – current properties include two Crowne Plaza hotels, four Holiday Inn hotels, one Holiday Inn Express hotel and one Hotel Indigo hotel.

The Holiday Inn Coatzacoalcos hotel, owned by Hotelera Pedregal, S.A. de C.V. is franchised by an affiliate of IHG and is located at Blvd. John Spark #4, Reserva Territorial Duport Ostion, Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexico. A few minutes from the airport and the main petrochemical complexes, the hotel is also conveniently accessible to several cultural attractions such as the renowned archeological zones of San Lorenzo Tenochtitlán.

The 120-room Holiday Inn Coatzacoalcos hotel includes two master suites and one presidential suite – all facing beautiful ocean views. The hotel design features a familiar atmosphere that is warm, trend forward and comfortable. Guest beds are made using crisp, white bedding with pillows that come in two comfort levels: “soft” and “firm.” Rooms also include business-focused necessities such as an ergonomic workstation, data ports and complimentary local newspapers. The bathrooms include a multifunctional showerhead, as well as a signature shower curtain with curved rod, and bath products. Additionally, each room has a comfortable double, queen or king-sized bed, a sitting area with a lounge chair, hairdryer, coffee maker, iron and ironing board.

Other amenities include a swimming pool, a fully-equipped fitness center, and four meeting rooms with a capacity for up to 800 people. Guests can also enjoy the hotel’s restaurant Bar Las Ventanas offering various dining options including international cuisine and Mexican regional dishes. Kids 12 and younger eat free at Holiday Inn hotels when ordering from the kids’ menu in the hotel restaurant and accompanied by a dining adult. Room Service Right … On Time™, also a standard at all Holiday Inn hotels, ensures that guests’ room service orders are accurate and delivered on time, every time.
