The opening of Shangri-La’s Sanya Resort & Spa, Hainan on 28 September 2014 will mark Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts’ much anticipated and first luxury resort in the ‘Oriental Hawaii’ of Mainland China.
Located on the southern most tip of Hainan Island and a 40-minute drive from Sanya International Airport, the sprawling 45-acre resort with 340 guestrooms and eight two-storey villas commands 180-degree sea and mountain views and has direct access to an immaculate white-sand beach that stretches 300 metres.
Reservations are now open to arrivals from 28 September. An introductory rate of RMB988 per night, plus 15 per cent service charge, is available until 31 December 2014. The special opening offer includes accommodation in a Superior Room, breakfast for two and triple points for Golden Circle Members, plus such Shangri-La benefits as free Wi-Fi, unlimited use of recreational facilities and access to the kid’s Adventure Zone.
