Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites opening in Calgary

InterContinental Hotels Group has announced the opening of a new Holiday Inn Express® Hotel & Suites in Calgary, Alberta following a $25 million investment by 722413 Alberta Ltd.

The six-story, 113-room hotel also includes 49 suites, a business center, indoor swimming pool with waterslide, and a large meeting space for up to 160 people appropriate for both weddings and corporate meetings. Additionally, the hotel boasts beautiful mountain and downtown views and a heated underground parking facility.

This 78,000-square-foot addition to IHG’s hotels in Calgary is located close to some of the city’s major attractions such as McMahon Stadium at the University of Calgary and the Canada Olympic Park. Other neighboring attractions include Calgary Zoo, SAIT Polytechnic, Calaway Park and the Tellus Science Museum.
