Greg Liddell named General Manager at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona

Mandarin Oriental Hotel GroupMandarin Oriental, Barcelona is delighted to announce the appointment of Greg Liddell as General Manager.

Mr Liddell began his career with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in 2009 as General Manager of Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi, Chiang Mai and was most recently at the helm of the award-winning The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, which he successfully positioned as one of the city’s leading properties. The hotel has been awarded the triple Forbes Five Star Rating for the Hotel, Restaurant and Spa, one of only twenty three hotels to receive this honour worldwide.

Mr Liddell has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 18 years, and prior to joining Mandarin Oriental, held a number of senior positions including General Manager of Aman Resorts as well as Group General Manager of Karma Resorts where he was responsible for the opening and ongoing operation of two resorts in Bali, Indonesia and Koh Samui, Thailand.

Born in Mexico, Mr Liddell was educated and worked in Sydney, Australia before travelling to Asia. He speaks a number of languages including Spanish and French. His favorite pastimes are sports, travel and food and wine.
