Following a distinguished career in hospitality and with over 20 years of experience, Mr. Rajesh Ramdas has been appointed General Manager of Hyatt Regency Ludhiana. His most recent assignment was as Executive Assistant Manager – Rooms at Hyatt Regency Mumbai.

As General Manager, his responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of property management in accordance with the company’s mission statement, including the maximisation of financial performance, guest satisfaction and staff development within established quality standards. He is additionally responsible for the hiring, training and discipline of all hotel staff. He is also responsible for managing and developing a successful relationship between the owners of the property and the Hyatt management team.

Rajesh holds experience in the hospitality sector and brings with him intricate knowledge of the industry and experience of international operating standards. Rajesh, a hotel management graduate from Mangalore University, commenced his career with The Leela group as a management trainee in 1995, during which he did an understudy in housekeeping. He was promoted to Assistant Manager Reservations and then transferred to the front office as Lobby Manager. He then joined the pre-opening team of Burj Al Arab – Dubai in 1999 as Guest Services Manager, where he was promoted to Assistant Front Office Manager and subsequently to Front Office Manager.
