Arnaud Beaulieu and Arnaud Patat are joining Accor as SVP Asset Management and SVP Technical Services respectively, within HotelInvest, Europe’s leading hotel investor. They will report to John Ozinga, COO of HotelInvest.
These two appointments are in line with the Group’s property business’ strategy which aims to optimize and streamline the asset portfolio. HotelInvest currently owns 1,354 hotels, of which 86% are in Europe (France, North Central Eastern Europe and Southern Europe) and 96% are in the Economy and Midscale segments.
Arnaud Beaulieu (above right) will be leading the Asset Management department, which includes both Asset Restructuring and Portfolio Management teams. In this capacity, he will be managing HotelInvest’s property portfolio and supervising our relations with our partners and investors. He will also be leading strategic reviews on property disposals and acquisition opportunities, and coordinating and steering real-estate transactions.
Arnaud Beaulieu is a graduate of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University and HEC business school. He began his career in 2001, at Suez’ Financial Transactions and Treasury department. In 2006, he joined the Carrefour Group, where he held various financial positions at Carrefour France and afterward at Carrefour’s Corporate Real Estate department. In 2008, he joined Carrefour Property, the Carrefour Group’s Real Estate Division, as Head of Investment Control, and went on to become Head of Asset Management for Greater Paris area. He joined PSA Peugeot Citroen’s Corporate Real Estate Department in 2012 as Head of Asset Management before being appointed Corporate Real Estate Director in summer 2014.
Arnaud Patat (right) will head up HotelInvest’s Technical Division. He will work closely with the head office and country teams and will notably be responsible for upgrading and enhancing the Group’s standards, processes and tools.
Arnaud graduated from the Paris-based Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics and has spent the past 20 years building his experience and solid technical expertise as project director in the civil engineering and construction sector. He has designed and built a wide variety of properties (hotels, corporate head offices, data centers, etc.) spanning over 400,000 sqm in total. He started his career in 1996, with Igape, a Paris-based engineering company, as design and construction project manager. In 2004, he moved to Imogis where he oversaw several large head-office construction projects in and around Paris.
In 2010, he became Technical Director at AOS Studley, which has since become a Colliers International Group company. He has in particular supervised the engineering and construction of Carrefour’s new head office and worked on the construction of the Hotel Molitor Paris – MGallery Collection.
