Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi has further strengthened the quality of its restaurants with the appointment of Christophe Gavois as Executive Chef.
French-born Christophe brings with him more than 20 years’ experience from all over the globe, having worked in the hotel industry in London, Palm Beach, Dublin, Cairo, Hampshire, Abu Dhabi and Ajman. In an impressive career that has seen Christophe working in luxury hotels for international chains Four Seasons and Sheraton, he has amassed culinary experience in European, French, in particular Provençale, Caribbean, Asian and Middle Eastern cuisines.
“It is with great pleasure that I welcome Chef Christophe to the team. He brings with him such a wide range of global culinary and management skills which will be of great benefit to the continued growth of our diverse outlets,” said Kamal Chaoui, General Manager at Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi.
Christophe added: “The thread running through my career as a chef is my passion for local products. I do not impose a particular style of cuisine but prefer to cook with what the region has to offer and exploit these natural resources and influences. However I never want this to become a gimmick on my menu creations which is why the local produce must be of the absolute highest quality”
