Aptilo adds analytics and captive portals to Wi-Fi Service Manager

aptilo-logoWith Aptilo SMP Venue Wi-Fi Manager (VWM), Aptilo Networks has added new analytics and captive portal features to Aptilo Service Management Platform(SMP).

Available as a cloud service, hotel chains can use Aptilo’s Venue Wi-Fi Manager to enable and manage carrier-class Wi-Fi services for multiple hotel properties from the same scalable platform. Aptilo’s Captive Portal templates can be consistently branded for the hotel chain, and then tailored to each individual property. The chain can choose which selected objects and texts in the portal are available in Aptilo’s Captive Portal Manager for modification at each property by non-technical administrators who will not need web development skills.

Analytics – including user demographic data and a multitude of different data patterns – are provided to individual properties in an easy-to-use web GUI. The ability to analyze visitors and trends is often as equally valuable to hotels as the Wi-Fi service itself.

Aptilo SMP VWM enables seamless Wi-Fi onboarding for hotel guests on a secure encrypted Wi-Fi network. As guests travel to different properties in different regions or countries, they will automatically connect to the Wi-Fi, with the hotel retaining the ability to engage guests through (for instance) email or SMS.
