Zaplox releases Mobile Key Services version 3.0

ZaploxZaplox Mobile Key Services, a global provider of advanced mobile key services for the hospitality industry, announces the release of version 3.0 of its industry leading Mobile Key Services solution, which incorporates several innovative new functions that have the potential to revolutionize the guest experience, while maximizing property efficiency and profitability.

Currently boasting the most mobile key integrations in the hospitality market worldwide, Zaplox Mobile Key Services present hoteliers with a true turnkey platform that is fully compatible with most major locking system providers’ mobile solutions, including ASSA ABLOY Mobile Access, Salto Systems and Kaba Mobile Access. The latest release of Zaplox Mobile Key Services now provides hotels and resorts with a comprehensive, integrated and scalable solution that is fully able to address the mobile key service needs of any property.

Zaplox Mobile Key Services consist of an easily downloadable mobile key app that is compatible with all major smartphone platforms; an administration portal from which a hotel can manage the complete guest experience within the app; and integrations provided for all major hotel lock providers and PMS systems.

Magnus Friberg, Zaplox’ CEO, highlights the major customer benefits of the new features and functions that have been added to the latest update, saying, “We are proud to present the hotel industry with a mobile key solution that is completely streamlined and able to manage customized branding, customized guest experiences and customized offers. This means that a hotel can tailor the guest experience using all the necessary features for a smooth booking, check-in and check-out experience, while also providing promotional offers at the right time and at the right place.”

The new version also provides tools to enhance loyalty and increase the potential for re-booking. Once installed, a hotel can manage much of this functionality through the administration portal, which gives the hotel the freedom to change and test offers for their guests, and optimize the experience of their hotel stay.

“The main strength of the system is the possibility to create a personalized and adaptive guest experience,” continues Friberg. “A hotel will, for example, know the most suitable amenities to offer guests before check-in, two hours after check-in, and then after several days stay. All functions are tied to the mobile key, which creates a high degree of usage and increases the likelihood of guest interaction with promotional messaging efforts.”

With recent industry research indicating that more than 70 percent of travelers would opt to use their smartphones as a check-in alternative, the mobile phone serves as a key to unlocking the future of guest satisfaction. Underlining the importance of the new system with regard to further boosting mobile key’s popularity, Friberg concludes, “Zaplox has more customers and hotel chains actively using a mobile key solution then anyone else in the mobile key services industry, and we have seen the demands of customers evolve over time. Our new version of Mobile Key Services is a direct answer to feedback observed with ongoing customer needs, and is based on the expertise that we have acquired over time by providing our system to hotel chains and holiday dwellings around the world. Mobile Keys make the hotel stay experience easy for guests, while simultaneously creating a powerful communication channel for hoteliers. We have now released Mobile Keys with a robust guest interface that makes it even easier and more intuitive to use, along with tools that a hotel can use to maximize revenue streams. Our next step is to roll out 3.0 to existing customers, and offer this solution to new and potential customers, starting in Europe and North America.”
