Mobile guest communications will reach Millennials where they plan and book
“This year Maestro will launch multiple features and service initiatives to help clients strengthen their online presence and support more efficient, productive, and profitable operations,” said Warren Dehan, Maestro PMS President. “Millennials are a huge market today. They plan and book from their handheld and mobile devices. An integral part of Maestro’s DNA will be new mobile guest communications that enhance guest service with 2-way text, email, and direct booking.”
Expanded social media engagement means a more personalized stay
Social media connectivity is integral to Maestro’s 2016 Development Roadmap. “We will expand our existing social media guest engagement features to include feeds from Twitter and Facebook to tie a property’s guest experience offering to online preferences,” Dehan said. “Properties will be empowered to use Maestro’s new social media functionality to create a more personalized stay by knowing their guests interests before they arrive and during their stay.”
Dehan noted that Maestro will also update its PCI 3.1 and EMV secure credit card processing functionality to support new compliance guidelines. In addition, Maestro will continue to expand the capabilities of its proprietary Maestro API already in use by many third-party solution providers to easily and quickly interface with the Maestro Property Management System.
eLearning support behind every screen
“Maestro’s 2016 Development Roadmap extends beyond technology. We will launch a suite of new eLearning tools and content that continues to enhance our Diamond Plus Service offering,” Dehan said. “Maestro’s expanded library of eLearning tools includes Video Tutorials for Executive Overviews that provide high-level management overviews for each modules capabilities. We will also expand the number of Maestro screens that supply embedded Maestro Direct eLearning access. Our goal in 2016 is to have eLearning explanations and tutorials that simplify self-guided system training and build user confidence behind every screen.”
