Wyndham opens new Ramada Encore hotels in Seoul and Pyeongtaek

Ramada Encore SeoulHighlighting continued interest in its growing portfolio of global brands, Wyndham Hotel Group has announced the opening of new Ramada Encore hotels in the South Korean cities of Seoul and Pyeongtaek.

Built against the backdrop of the country’s continuous transformation of its cities into technology hubs, the newly opened Ramada Encore Seoul Magok and Ramada Encore Pyeongtaek are expected to meet growing visitor demand in both cities, particularly from business travellers.

Wyndham now has 23 hotels representing 5,218 rooms across South Korea, all of which operate under the Ramada and Days Inn brand flag. They are located in the cities of Seoul, Incheon, Gangwon, Gunsan and Jeju Island.

Due to the growing popularity of the country’s smart cities among business travellers and investors, the debut of these hotels comes at a pivotal time to provide more venues for meetings and conferences in emerging destinations such as Magok and Pyeongtaek.

Owned by Urbanus Partners, the hotel is conveniently located close to some of Seoul’s world-class shopping and dining precincts, as well as GIMPO International Airport and notable landmarks such as Gyongin Ara Waterway and Mokdong Stadium.

Located in Gyeonggi province, the 302-room Ramada Encore Pyeongtaek Ð owned by Grand Palace Corporation Ð caters mostly to business travellers due to its close proximity to complexes in which global telecommunications companies will soon be operating.
