Wyndham Hotel Group has reached many milestones across South East Asia and the Pacific Rim this year, opening 17 new hotels, adding a total of 2,336 rooms and expanding into two new countries with Ramada Hotel Niigata in Japan and Wyndham Legend Halong Bay in Vietnam.

This growth is set to continue with a pipeline consisting of more than 30 properties, the majority of which are new builds due to open by 2020. These new hotels will add a further 8,776 rooms to the Wyndham portfolio in the region, bringing the total number of rooms to 24,030.

“This is an exciting period for Wyndham Hotel Group as we accelerate our expansion and development plans with a focus on South East Asia. Bali is one of the most popular resort destinations for regional and domestic travel, and has always seen tremendous interest from its source markets with 9.73 million arrivals in 2015. We saw Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort Bali as an opportunity to showcase a novel side of Bali, where guests can immerse themselves in authentic local experiences and the best surf spots in the untouched eastern region of Klungkung,” said Barry Robinson, President and Managing Director of Wyndham Hotel Group South East Asia and the Pacific Rim.

Wyndham’s newest flagship hotel in Indonesia, Wyndham Jivva Bali is set to unravel the rich and unspoken heritage of what was once Bali’s most important kingdom,  Klungkung, and all the enchanting experiences that the tropical island destination has to offer.

Located on the eastern coast of Bali surrounded by terraced rice paddies, the 3.4 acre beachfront resort is situated away from the bustle of the city’s hotspots and close to the heart of nature.  In complete harmony with the environment, the resort is designed with natural elements made of wood, stone and water that blend cohesively into its surroundings. The contemporary styled resort is a journey into self-discovery and relaxation, from the arrival in the lobby surrounded by a tranquil waterlily pond through to the winding cobbled paths which lead to the villas, thatched-roofed spa and beach club.

A stylish retreat in the soul of Bali

Wyndham Jivva Bali boasts a total of 222 rooms and five room categories from Resort Rooms to exclusive Private Pool Villas with private lap pools and adjoining gardens. Most rooms offer a choice of twin or king beds and combine modern and authentic decor for a breathtaking Indonesian experience. For added indulgence, the resort’s suites offer 60sqm of space with additional amenities such as a work desk, plush lounge area and an outdoor balcony with a private plunge pool or Jacuzzi.

In-room amenities across all categories include an LED TV, in-room safe, well-stocked mini bar, coffee and tea making facilities as well as a selection of bathroom amenities.

Pampering indulgences amidst stunning sea views

Guests can indulge in a coastal dining experience at Bumbu Restaurant, which serves tantalising Indonesian cuisine prepared with the freshest seafood, as well as international cuisine with a local twist. Unique and customised meal options such as gourmet lunchboxes can be prepared for guests venturing out to seek adventure at sea or in the nearby villages.  At the Senja Poolside Bar, guests can savour views of the stunning sunset with a cocktail in hand and revel in the live music to wind down in the evening.

Holistic wellbeing meets relaxation

A destination synonymous with relaxation and rejuvenation, Tirta Spa focuses on a holistic approach to wellness and utilises ancient Balinese traditions in its treatments to restore and renew the body. The word Tirta is Sanskrit for Holy Water and adopts the Balinese practice of achieving balance to revitalise the mind, body and soul. Designed to showcase an exclusive and natural environment, Tirta’s eight beachside garden huts all include a personal bathroom with a rain shower and bath as well as a private terrace.

Wellness programs can be facilitated at Tirta’s alfresco deck, which shelters guests from the elements and accommodates groups of up to 40 for yoga retreats.

An immersive and authentic Balinese experience

Away from the busy tourist regions, Wyndham Jivva Bali invites guests to explore the area of Klungkung where its roads once led to sacred temples, ancient villages and the royal palaces. Now, guests can immerse themselves in authentic local experiences with cycling trips through rice plantations providing insights into the Balinese way of living. The resort is also in close proximity to the Klungkung palace and art markets for guests to gain a deeper cultural understanding of the region.

An ideal destination for beach-goers and experienced surfers, the resort stretches out onto a dramatic black volcanic sand beachfront for lounging all day in the sun, and is a ten minute drive to world-class surf break, Keramas.
