The Park Hotels launch new Zone by the Park Chennai

Zone by the Park Chennai (Tamil Nadu, south eastern India) is now open, with 36 rooms and four suites. The hotel is the third Zone by The Park property and the first to open in Chennai.


Priya Paul, Chairperson of The Parks Hotels said, “Though different from The Park, we wanted to create a brand that would channel its inimitable spirit. A new brand with a new vision for the global citizen.”

The hotel’s design is overseen by London-based designers Project Orange, working with Priya Paul, Chairperson of The Parks Hotels. The hotel seeks to establish a connection between the traveller and the local culture by creating a contemporary collage of the country and its’ traditions.


A number of food and beverage options will be available at Zone by The Park Chennai. The Bazaar follows the concept of the hotel allowing open plan, free-flowing, interactive spaces, creating new culinary and social experiences for guests. Inspired by the traditional market bazaar it is a place where people can meet and engage in a friendly and informal atmosphere. Playa by Zone, the rooftop restaurant and bar is designed to create a wild and wonderful atmosphere for guests. Urban Spice Box, situated on the rooftop creates seductive aromas of a mixed grill, juxtaposed by meeting the night sky. Z-bar aims to become a vibrant nightspot during the weekend, offering a lively, yet casual lounge experience.

As well as numerous dining options, the property will feature the Vitalia Spa & Fitness Centre featuring the latest fitness technology, and a rooftop pool framed by scenic city views.


The hotel is, situated in the new commercial district of Chennai within 15 minutes from the international airport and 40 minutes from the railway station and bus station. The hotel is close to a number of attractions including Marian Beach, Pondy Bazaar, Chennai Turtle Walk, and MGR Film City.
