Kempinski Harbin 1Kempinski Hotel Harbin has opened its doors. As the first Kempinski Hotel in Heilongjiang Province, out of the 22 currently situated in China, Kempinski Hotel Harbin is set to become a leading luxury hotel in the Icy City.

As the capital of the Heilongjiang Province, the city of Harbin is renowned as “Oriental Paris,” with its climate shifting between a snow kingdom in winter to an oasis in summer. The architecture of the city has a distinguished and historic style, owing to both Chinese and Western influence. The stately Saint Sophia Cathedral, the mysterious Nicola Church, the Russian-style wooden house, the elegant and chic Gothic buildings, Central Streets’ European architecture, the annual music concert “Summer of Harbin”, the Ice and Snow Festival, and the International Trade Fair, all reflect the unique charm of this city.

As the new landmark, Kempinski Hotel Harbin stands on the north bank of the Songhua River and presides over the Songbei District. Every room is elegantly designed and equipped with high ceilings of 3.9m and graced with large panoramic window to present a view of the Songhua River.
