Sheraton Hotels & Resorts and Shenzhen Hazens Real Estate Investment Group, LLC have announced the signing of Sheraton San Gabriel, a new, 288-room hotel located in the heart of San Gabriel, about 10 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles. Set to start construction this month, the Sheraton San Gabriel will feature all of the brand’s signature amenities and offerings, including Sheraton Club and a luxury spa. The hotel is expected to open in early 2018 as the brand seeks to double charge its growth with a goal of opening more than 150 new Sheraton hotels worldwide by 2020.
Sheraton San Gabriel will offer 277 guest rooms and 11 suites, and more than 10,000 square feet of meeting space across four banquet rooms. The hotel will feature two signature restaurants, offering Chinese and steakhouse dining options, as well as a bar, pool, fitness facilities and luxury spa. Guests will be able to stay connected in comfort in the Sheraton Club lounge with complimentary breakfast, all-day refreshments and Wi-Fi.
“The signing of Sheraton San Gabriel further reinforces our commitment to expanding our largest and most global brand with world-class properties in key gateway markets,” said Allison Reid, Senior Vice President of North America Development, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. “We are thrilled to expand our relationship with Hazens Real Estate Investment Group, LLC to bring Sheraton to San Gabriel.”
